Autumn's Grave

The skeletons of trees swayed in the breeze,
The cold nipping at her skin.
She stood upon a secluded hill
In a vast rolling plain of loneliness.
She breathed in the chilled air,
Watching the last crimson leaf
Flutter in the wind.

The time of her namesake,
The death of the past,
The birth of the new.

The sun burned in the setting sky,
Yet no heat reached the lands below.
She settled on the ground,
The feeling of the world's life
Humming beneath her,
In her veins,
In her soul.
She closed her eyes against the empty glare of the sun.
She sighed.

The last one who still remained.
The last one who still waite

Wolf. Sort of :S I tried to make it to look a bit like anubis, since I attempted an eye of anubis around his eye, but it failed...so its just a wolf.
From AS level sketchbook. :) Fineliners/water. Colour of the pic was a bit dull so I made it slightly lighter in gimp.
